Share your voice with the world. Upload your short story and join Afghanistan's literary community. Accepting submissions starting September 1st, 2025.

Submission Guidelines

Length & Language Requirements

  • •3,000 words maximum
  • •We accept submissions in Farsi (Dari) and English
  • •Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis

File Format Requirements

  • •Files must be submitted in .pdf or .docx format
  • •Maximum file size: 10MB
  • •Ensure your document is properly formatted and readable

Content Guidelines

  • •We encourage authentic storytelling - no fixed themes or prompts required
  • •Share narratives and poetry that reflect your unique experiences
  • •Focus on personal stories, cultural heritage, and authentic voice

Eligibility

  • •Open to Afghan youth and adults (age 16-34)
  • •Both fiction and non-fiction submissions welcome
  • •Original work only - no previously published content

Submission Process & Timeline

  • •Review process 1-2 months or in some cases more
  • •You'll receive an email confirmation upon submission
  • •We'll notify you of acceptance or feedback via email

Content Restrictions

  • •No hate speech, violence, or discriminatory content
  • •Respectful representation of all communities and cultures
  • •No explicit sexual content or graphic violence

Rights & Publication

  • •You retain copyright of your work
  • •Accepted stories may be published on our website and in our anthology
  • •We may request permission for additional promotional use

Multiple Submissions

  • •You may submit multiple stories, but each must be submitted separately
